Adobe Photoshop New Logo

Adobe Photoshop has released its new logo and also has new tagline "See What's Possible". Yes it's true and it's official! - We can't be dreaming.

"The Photoshop logo on a product, service, or technology, represents the rich legacy, technical quality, and attention to detail that has made Photoshop the gold standard in digital imaging," - from the press docs.

I love Photoshop and I have used it every day since college. The new logo looks like the iChat logo that was reversed and doesn't speak to what Photoshop is to me. I don't get this one either... it looks so out of place with the current CS3 icons that I have gradually accepted. Now this flys in the face of those. I don't see consistency here at all.

Here's a quick screenshots of the main variations on the logo.

Would you rather choose mine?

I love being a Bedan or Bedista and I am really proud of it. It is proven that Bedan students and Alumni are really hardcore supporters of the school and this gave my idea on creating a tee shirt design for my peers in San Beda but nothing happened because i lacked of marketing my design.

After a year, a fellow bedan showcased his spoof edition of shirts to other bedans, most of them purchased his tee shirts and that happened often. Now its NCAA Season 83 and this is my time to market my new ideas and designs. Last week, i posted my tee shirt design in bedista.com few days after I post my entry, other competitors showed up selling the same brand (San Beda) but different design.

In this case, we have 3 designs competing to a small population of target audience, If you were to ask what San Beda Tee Shirt are you going to choose?

1. My Design - The Bedista Tee Shirt
2. Fellow Bedan 1 - Second Coming
3. Fellow Bedan 2 - Ekwe Shirt

Please Choose one and why.

Simple Things

This is one of my favorite songs of Usher, simple things. You can't buy happiness because you can make someone happy or feel special by being yourself.

Simple Things

eah, uhh
They say money can't buy you love
They say money can't buy you love
They never seem to listen
I'm all ears

Just copped your girl a brand new Rolex
But you can never find the time to spend at home
Thinkin' that's gon' keep her happy
Your time is all she wanted all along

[Chorus]
It's the simple things in life we forget
You hear her talkin' but don't hear what she said
Why do you make something so easy so complicated?
Searching for what's right in front of your face
But you can't see it

[Verse 2]
So you think that you know what's important
Steady chasin' your fame and your fortune
But you don't know
You're chasing a dime losin' a treasure
Those dollars don't make sense to me at all
Ooh, it goes

da da da da
You give her spending money
da da da da
But all she wanna spend is time alone (tonight)
Keep givin' her
The finer things but
But she don't really need that
If you don't stop you're
You're gonna end up alone (alone)
In the world without love (duh duh da duh da)
Why would you do it

[Chorus x2]
It's the simple things in life we forget
You hear her talkin' but don't hear what she said
Why do you make something so easy so complicated
Searching for what's right in front of your face
But you can't see it

It's the simple things in life we forget
You hear her talkin' but don't hear what she said
Why do you make something so easy so complicated
Searching for what's right in front of your face
But you can't see it (listen)

[Verse 3]
Stop tryna buy her love
'cos you won't ever have enough
There's always someone with more than you
You need to pay her attention
Give her what she needs
Do the simple thing
Before you lose your girl to me
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeeah
Yeeeah yeah
Play on playa
Yeah
Your girl comin' wit' me shorty, haha
I'm tellin' you man
'coz u know

[Chorus]
It's the simple things in life we forget
You hear her talkin' but don't hear what she said
Why do you make something so easy so complicated
Searching for what's right in front of your face
But you can't see it

[Bridge]
You better look out
I hear you talkin', i hear you talkin' (ha)
But what are you saying
Oh hoo oh hooo
Don't be a fool
You got a good thing
Man are you blind
Stupid or crazy?
You got a good thang (uh)
You got a good thang
If that's your lady
You better hold on
And give her what she wants
Before she move on
Man i'm tellin' you cars, clothes, and fancy things don't mean a damn thang
If you ain't caking n bakin' babe
[Chorus]
It's the simple things in life we forget
You hear her talkin' but don't hear what she said
Why do you make something so easy so complicated
Searching for whats right in front of your face
But you can't see it

Parokya ni Pogs

At last my company, DirectWithHotels has formed a basketball team that will compete with other companies to achieve one dream, one destiny and one goal. Our main objective is to market our company of what we do, who we are, and how we can make a difference to other companies and with that our team can be a “Zimmie Promoter”, a “Guest Promoter” and a “Company Promoter”, what do you think?

Currently our team has won one game and lost two games on Allied Bank big applause to Rodjay, Lean’s Boyfriend helping the team to win the game.
The only problem I see in the team is that there is no practice at all, even a warm up before playing. All of us do not have a shooting touch in the perimeter even my lay-up missed as a tie breaker on the second round of the game and it’s really a bashful experience grrr..

The players from the DWH Team are as follows:

Top 10 songs for today

One of my likes is music. I love music so much even though I don’t have the skills and talents on singing and playing musical instruments. Can anyone teach me even just how to play a basic strumming or plucking of guitar?

Anyways, here are my top 10 songs that I listened today arranged from the most to the least played. I chose the songs not because of the lyrics but because of the beat of the music, weird huh?

1. Sa Langit – Moonstar 88
2. Simple Things – Usher
3. It’s not over - Daughtry
4. Vindicated – Dashboard Confessional
5. Home – Daughtry
6. Real Girl – Mutya Buena (former Sugababes)
7. Who is she to you – Brandy feat.Usher
8. Feels like tonight – Daughtry
9. Only One – Yellowcard
10. Better Days – Goo Goo Dolls

My Birthday's OST

While doing an entry on my birthday stuff I accidentally came across joni’s blog (a good friend of mine and a former officemate) as I saw her sound player that plays Moonstar 88’s Sa Langit.

I love the beat and harmony of the song. I don’t know if you will like it too. Hehe

Sa Langit

Paano kaya mapapansin
Pag-ibig kong itong laging bitin
Panay sulyap, puro tingin
Hindi na talaga lilingunin
Lagi na lang nasasaktan
Puso kong itong nagdurusa

Paano kaya mararamdan
Pag-ibig mong aking dasal

Just turned 22

I woke up in the morning so surprised as I saw lots of relatives and friends greeted me a happy birthday.

My plans today are to treat my officemates an ice cream and buy some foods for a liltle celebration at home. On this coming weekend my siblings, other relatives and I will gather to celebrate it. The problem is we haven’t decided yet a good bistro to enjoy the night. I’m just hoping that on we can finalize everything by tomorrow.

What I missed today? I forgot to attend a mass my bad! It has been our culture to attend a mass or even go to a church to pray but because I have work I didn’t make it.

Who I am missing? Of course my dear parents who I have been longing for 13 years now. My grandparents who took care of me also after my parents died. My cousins, we haven’t seen these days anymore and lastly my pic, karra hehe at last I can see her on Saturday yihiii!

For those who greeted me today that I haven’t replied I would like to take this opportunity to thank you. God Bless us All!

Browser Incompatibility

After the migration of files to the new server in our office last weekend April 13 and 14 we are currently experiencing some problems on Internet Explorer (IE) browser, some of our OHW (official hotel websites) do not appear on it while all of them works properly on Mozilla FireFox, weird!

I tried to debug the codes of claremont hotel and suria resorts corporate website, but nothing happened on IE. grrr. This weekend, I was requested to check our hotels to see if there are any other official hotel websites that has problems on IE. Here are the hotels that has problems on IE:

1. www.claremont.com.sg

Claremont hotel is not working properly on IE but showing up on Mozilla.

2. www.suriaresorts.com
3. www.suriaresorts.com/merang-suria
4. www.suriaresorts.com/suria-cherating

Suria Resorts Corporate Website and its individual properties are not working properly on IE but showing up on Mozilla.

5. www.quality.com.my
6. www.quality.com.my/KL/
7. www.quality.com.my/SA/

Quality Hotel Corporate Website and its individual hotels are not working properly on IE but showing up on Mozilla.

8. www.beachhotel.com.sg

There is a missing information after the banner in the beach hotel official hotel website.

9. www.aspinals.com.sg

Rates of USD and SGD are similar it must be different, codes were changed but still the same. In addition to this, on IE the contents on the right page went down and now has a big white space on it's top.

On Monday, next week will be one of my busiest days since I will try to debug and solve the problem about this together with Sir Mark of the ITS department who continously working hard to help us about this kind of problems.

Building Links

This is my first time to build links for my website, The Espresso Machine. My website provides information about the types and brands of excellent espresso machines and accessories so you can find the best and cheapest espresso machine that you needed.

The major reason why i need to do link building is to increase my website's ranking in search engines. Building quality inbound and relevant links are techniques for Link Building. How do i build links? Simple. Add or submit your url to directories also by putting links to social media websites and other relevant website.

The Espresso Machine Campaign

I have launched recently a campaign to boost my web site's ranking which deals about
the espresso machine which to most coffee and espresso lovers are really awesome and
a great morning drink before going to work or while reading a newspaper.
